Blue sky, loud music, and of course, red velvet cake

Twenty one! Six flags over Georgia!

Since I'm really not much of a roller coaster rider, I wasnt totally looking forward to this show. Don't get me wrong, I was pumped about the show, just not where the show was.

We got up early that saturday...really early. We left our house at 7:00am. My parents, aunt, cousin, Sloen and Jonathan came also. I was excited they were coming with me, espeically Jonathan, but I was also pumped about seeing all my Switchfoot buddies there! Anna, Laura, and Susie, all absolutely AMAZING photographers. I love them to death. So anyways...when we got there we called Ike and he came to the gates to get the sweet tea for the guys and something extra...Drew's favorite cake, red velvet cake for his birthday! After that Jonathan and Neet (aunt) rode some rides...since I refused to get anywhere close to them. Then about 3:00 we got in line.

We sat there until 5:00, when the doors opened, talking to Anna and her aunt, Merril, and Laura. (Susie was backstage...taking Jon's advice and acting like she knew what she was doing!(; )When the rather mean security guards let us in they yelled, and i mean YELLED "IF YOU PASS ME OR ANY OF THE OTHER GUARDS YOU WILL NOT GO TO THE CONCER!!!!" It was a little frightening, I'm not going to lie. Then, after getting yelled at, we were hearded (yes, like cows) to the stage. It was quite an experience for all of us I'm sure...

So during the show the guys used the cake we had brought them when they sang happy birthday to Drew! It was so incredible!

This was definitely my all time favorite show picture-wise...here are some are my favorites that I took!:

'Kid with the Bullet Soul...'

Switchfoot concert number twenty. Wow. It has truely been the best times in the past four years. From standing in line for hours and hours, waiting for doors to open, to the excitment of watching the guys surfing at the Bro-Am. It has all been beyond worth it.

This concert was very speical to me. It was in my hometown and all my friends were there. Anna and her family also came. It was great seeing them, as always!

I checked out of school around one and got to Workplay around 1:30. I called Ike (for those who are not Switchfoot fans....Ike is Switchfoot's manager, and quite possibly one of my favorite people.) and he came outside to get the sweet tea we had brought him and the guys(tradition..). We all waited in line for, hm, lets see, about six hours. We had some back ground music- Adam playing some Matthew Mayfield. Pretty much perfectly too!

So, if you are a 'Friend of the Foot', you get in for soundcheck and you get to hang out with the guys for a little while before the show. I was going to take Jonathan, Lakyn, and Kelsey back with me. At four Ike and Andy (photographer) came out and put wrist bands on us and let us in. The guys were already on stage playing a new song, well a new cover of a song. Sabotage by The Beastie Boys. It was an interesting twist to Switchfoot.

After soundcheck, all the guys came down to talk to us. Chad gave Jonathan some Drumsticks, which was pretty awesome. Drew and Jerome both talked to us for a really long time. Jerome asked Jonathan if he needed to go have a talk with him in the corner. Drew asked my mom if he was a good guy. She said yes, of course, since he is. The boys are always looking out for me!(:
When we started talking to Tim he pulled out a pic and signed it like he had for my tenth concert. It said "Happy 20th! Love, Tim." It was pretty awesome, here's some pictures!

So after the soundcheck/meet and greet was over, we all went back outside. Callie, Zach, Ryan, and Catherine had all gotten there. I was so excited to have everyone at the show! When the doors opened, this time to go into the show, we all rushed to the left side of the stage (Tim's side) and took tons of pictures! Here's two of my favorites:

The show was probably my favorite show I've seen so far. The set list was incredible! I wish I could relive this one! Here are my favorite shots from the show!:

I think this is one of my favorite pictures

It was such a wonderful show! Definitely the best I've been to!
