Auction Soriee
Last night was the second day of the Bro-am events. It was taken place at a house in La Jolla. The owner of this house owns the padres and is the founder of qualcom...there are no words for this house. Heres a few pictures:
View from the house
Here are some pictures of us while we were there:
Me and Kiptyn!
Me with Mr. and Mrs. Foreman
Me with Jon
Me with Jerome and sweet baby Parker
Me with Kristi
Me and Ike
Me and Drew
After the silent auction, Drew 'MCed' the loud auction...and he was fantastic at it. I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life...here's a few quotes I dont think I will forget:
"You could be a King AND/OR Queen!"
"You get the surf board and a years supply of vitiamin water...You could go surfing IN the vitiamin water!"
"Hurley Boardshorts! They are water repellet!!"
"Opportunity drawing, where everyone has an opportunity!"
For people reading who weren't there, this might not be funny, for those who were; you probably thought they were.

"Welcome to a world at war. Welcome to a world I don't even know anymore. Welcome to the fallout."
Today was the first of the three Bro-am events. Switchfoot preformed at the San Diego (Del Mar) fair. The fair in San Diego is one of the most surreal things. I mean everything you can think of is there! You can buy cars, insurance, a new mattress, etc. The food is the same. You can have just about anything fried or covered in chocolate. It's crazy!
After we enjoyed our freshly sliced potato chips and our fried oreos we went to our seats on the Del Mar Track for the show. We talked with the guys' manager, Ike. We love Ike:
The show was amazing! (as always) My pictures on the other hand were not....Heres a *few* good ones, and probably the only ones!
Everyone took a picture at the same time.
Hopefully I'll have better luck with pictures at the Auction!

Santa Monica and Newport
First day in my favorite city! We got up at 2am to go to the airport. Our plane left at 5:30 going to ATL. We got to San Diego around 10 which was nice. First stop In-n-out- burger. Yummm!
After Lunch we headed to Santa Monica (BEAUTIFUL) heres some pictures!
After Santa Monica we headed back to Encinitas but stopped at New Port on the way. We went to the famous Look out point from the OC. I got some fantastic (Neet's new favorite word) pictures from there as well! Here's a few!
The water was beautiful!!

Blue sky, loud music, and of course, red velvet cake
Twenty one! Six flags over Georgia!
Since I'm really not much of a roller coaster rider, I wasnt totally looking forward to this show. Don't get me wrong, I was pumped about the show, just not where the show was.
We got up early that saturday...really early. We left our house at 7:00am. My parents, aunt, cousin, Sloen and Jonathan came also. I was excited they were coming with me, espeically Jonathan, but I was also pumped about seeing all my Switchfoot buddies there! Anna, Laura, and Susie, all absolutely AMAZING photographers. I love them to death. So anyways...when we got there we called Ike and he came to the gates to get the sweet tea for the guys and something extra...Drew's favorite cake, red velvet cake for his birthday! After that Jonathan and Neet (aunt) rode some rides...since I refused to get anywhere close to them. Then about 3:00 we got in line.
We sat there until 5:00, when the doors opened, talking to Anna and her aunt, Merril, and Laura. (Susie was backstage...taking Jon's advice and acting like she knew what she was doing!(; )When the rather mean security guards let us in they yelled, and i mean YELLED "IF YOU PASS ME OR ANY OF THE OTHER GUARDS YOU WILL NOT GO TO THE CONCER!!!!" It was a little frightening, I'm not going to lie. Then, after getting yelled at, we were hearded (yes, like cows) to the stage. It was quite an experience for all of us I'm sure...
So during the show the guys used the cake we had brought them when they sang happy birthday to Drew! It was so incredible!
